Model x wiper blade replacement8/28/2023 Buying them from Tesla was an option, but these were offered on Vine, so I took a shot. My 2016 Model X was starting to have streaky wipers. Will update with longevity details as they emerge! These perform similary.Pros:-Price-Ease of install-Buy from Amazon - skip dealing with TeslaCons:-Never completely gets all liquid off windshield - Just a Tesla thing, not a wiper issue-No instructions includedWill be interesting to see how these hold up over a Minnesota winter, but they look to be identical to the Tesla wipers, so I have high expectations as those have held up well. Rotate wiper in while pressing in the tabs until it clicksThe Tesla wipers clear, but the way they are designed, they never get 100% of water/fluid off the windshield and flip some off the end of the driver's side. Angle top clip on new wiper to catch in the arm9. Be sure connector comes out of hose on the wiper arm7. Remove washer hose connection - May require removing the tubing from the arm to get enough play in the hose6. Rotate outer end of wiper to release the hinge clip from the arm5. Lay down a towel or blanket under the wiper on the windshield to prevent scratches or other damage3. Put vehicle into "Wiper Service" mode - Car menu -> Service -> Wiper Service2. This took a bit to figure out the best way.Installation:1. The washer hose connectors are a little bit tricky.Pro-tip: Use one hand to pull back the tubing and the other to rotate the existing connector if the old connector doesn't come off easily. One would be very hard pressed to find a difference (if there even is one!).
